American Legion Post 397

Raffled Off Cornhole Boards

Project Summary

In September 2020, Dave Stone, 1st Vice Commander of the American Legion Post 397, approached Cornhole America and CatchMark to participate in an event to help raise funds to keep their post doors open and continue to provide services for veterans. This post supports funerals and other causes as well providing a place where older vets come to socialize and tell stories.

On September 13th, the American Legion held a cornhole tournament and raffled off a set of cornhole boards to raise funds. These cornhole boards brought in $540 and the event totalled $1,490 for the post.
