Comprehensive roll out of Multi-Factor Authentication
From August 3rd to September 30th, 2020 One of our Clients requested that we enable MFA for access to company resources.
Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) is an authentication method that requires the user to provide two or more verification factors to gain access to a resource such as an application, online account, or a VPN. MFA is a core component of a strong identity and access management (IAM) policy. Rather than just asking for a username and password, MFA requires one or more additional verification factors, which decreases the likelihood of a successful cyber attack.
The Authlite MFA project was a comprehensive rollout of MFA. Using MFA we were able to add an extra layer of security to prevent sensitive information from being compromised. MFA has been implemented for all administrative and user ID's to protect data in the cloud and onsite via a hardware token. Complexity was reduced for end users by providing a single form of MFA for use across all of the company resources
